Sporting her new christmas outfit.
I think we were more excited about it than Joy.

Thunder

Joy does not like storms. She retreats to her bed even before they start.
She can smell a storm coming and likes to sleep through them.

Never leave home without her....

Joy loves to travel! She always knows when we are going out and waits patiently by the door. She is a wonderful travel companion and makes friends everywhere we go. At first she was very hesitant around new people but it appears she feels secure enough now to trust most people. There have been a handful of
people she doesn't seem to like much but I trust she has her reasons.

A Month of Joy

She sleeps all curled up into a tiny little ball!
It's been just over a month since Joy moved in with us. She acts like she's been here forever. I am so pleased at how well she has adapted to our family. She has several favorite spots around the house but never hesitates to show up quickly if called. How did we ever get by without this sweet thing?

Why are you taking my picture again????

I swear that's what she was thinking as I shot this photo.
Here she is hiding in Eric's big stack of pillows.

4 Days So Far.....

Joy seems to be adapting to her new home quite well. She loves the back yard and is really enjoying the spring weather. We have to coax her back in. So far she's never been home alone, she's so portable she goes along everywhere we go.

Meeting Joy

Here is a picture of "Joy". We are hoping to bring her home to join our family this Saturday. We got a chance to meet her a couple of weeks ago and she seemed happy to be here. We are really looking forward to bringing her home for good.
